Some of the Algarve's best beaches, like Galé, São Rafael, Salgados and the aforementioned Fishermen's Beach (just to name a few) and several good quality restaurants, including one with 2 Michelin stars, are located within a short drive.
For a great family day out, there is a choice of water parks, a zoo with mini-golf, a karting track and the Zoomarine Aquarium and Dolphin Show in Guia.
The nearest golf course is Salgados. Alternatively, the 9 hole Sheraton Pine Cliffs course is to the other side of Albufeira, near Olhos D'Água.
